Make money from extra stuff

Trailers come with STUFF Whether you pay for a trailer or get it for free, more than 50% of the time old, used trailers will come with extras, goodies, freebies—stuff. This “stuff” can appear to be a hindrance to your goal of flipping the trailer for a 3X profit in 24-48 hours. NOT SO. This “stuff” can improve your profit margin dramatically.

Many times trailers come with related items such as extra parts. Parts can be used to increase the value of the investment or can be sold on the side, separately.

What comes with trailers? Frequently, there are valuable items within the trailer that can be sold. These can include TVs, stereos, kitchen and cookware, tableware, clothes, beds, bedding, appliances, jacks, hitches, spare tires and wheels, tools of many sorts, camping equipment furniture, canopies, tents, ACs, heaters and much more.

Other times a trailer will have non-related, exotic items within it. I have found guns, knives, swords, hunting equipment and jewelry. One time I towed back a trailer with an unopened large box. It contained two brand new stainless steel drinking fountains. Those provided an extra $500 of profit.

Storage space A little storage space in the garage, shed, back yard or wherever can provide you some time and space to inventory and market the stuff.

Properties come with stuff, too It gets better. Occasionally, you will come across trailers that need to be moved from a property that include items outside of the unit: picnic tables, BBQs, outdoor furniture, plants, sheds, lawn mowers, gardening tools, brooms, leaf blowers, decorations, cars and more are items I have been told to take. One such property brought me a vintage Dorsett boat. After some repairs and tune-up I’m looking forward to fun times on the Bay, and all from being called to pick up a trailer!
