Building Tiny Homes from RVs
Time & Location
About the Event
Join us at our upcoming workshop as we host Sacramento's Luther Burbank High School's students and professors from the Building Trades Program. We will examine a number of Used Trailers and their components and discuss the designs and engineering as advantages for integrating and re-purposing into the affordable construction of Tiny Homes. We will have a noted guest speaker within the building materials industry and RV technicians on tap for answering questions. We are excited to help support Luther Burbank's program, the growing Tiny House industry and our community as it grapples with the challenges of the affordable housing crisis.
The Tiny Home industry is growing and designers, manufacturrers, DIYers, schools and students are realizing the advanatages of integrating over 100 years of RV indusrty improvements into Tiny Home construction. This will be a hands-on workshop where you can learn in real time and in a real workplace environment.
Trailer Code and RV Doctor George have been working with the community for years, assisting those needing repairs of their RVs and those looking to use RVs as an affordable housing solution. With maintenance and repairs, used RVs (Trailers) are a satisfactory, affordable and safe living arrangement and are a sustainable, low-impact (on the environment) place to live.
We love to give back to the community and schools through programs like these including donating units, routinely.
